As far as I know, some viruses, including this latest one, do not just look in your address book, but also in your inbox. So if I have a message from you in my inbox, that is enough for the virus to send itself from my PC to you. In this case it will not happen because I do not use MS Outlook, which is the program through which this virus spreads (as is often the case). So the only real solutions are: 1) Don't use Outlook (but of course then the virus writers will just switch to whichever mail program becomes the most popular one); hence 2) Use a virus detection and removal program and update your virus definitions weekly.
