Norb Rosing, Leica and wildlife photographer, has used them from a moving boat to photograph Walruses for national Geo. You can rent them. They are a bit noisy, however. Place it UNDER the motor on a body (SLR) and then hand hold your 180 - 300 down to 1/30th!
