It's worth mentioning loud and often that if you leave your baggage unattended in the UK it is very likely that it will be destroyed with a 'controlled detonation'. This has been standard practice here for a long time now, and is becoming standard procedure elsewhere in the world too. Oh and you will piss off *everyone* in the airport/train station/bus station/tube system where you do this, because their journeys will be delayed, sometimes by hours.
