I have never seen anything as wonderfully machined and built as that movie camera. But for just under $1M (with a 10-1 Primo zoom, of course) what do you expect? And it also true that a few people DO own Panaflex cameras, but they are very rare. On the other hand, 1st camera assistants believe THEY "own" Panaflex cameras and get VERY miffed if their particular babies(even more so with prime lenses!) are rented out to someone else <ggg>. D. We sound men DO own our gear and don't rent it out.
