It is a long tube with a lens in the center. On one end a T mount adapter is installed and on the other it has a place to mount a slide with a milk glass lens at the end for the light to hit. On a tripod I mounted the camera and pointed it at a 150 watt enlarger bulb mounted in a student desk lamp. The lamp was about 30 inches from the end of the slide duplicator. I set the ISO film speed at actual and the camera selected the exposure time automatically.
