That means that if you are shooting closer than 0.8/0,9 meters, it suddenly skips the cameras focus. Once you remember that, you are OK with the lens. Oh, it has a nice vented hood that has a rotating mount. This means that if you use it on a LTM camera and the thread in the mount would put the hood in a position that blocks the viewfinder, you can "adjust" the hood so that the "vent" is in the correct position.
