Tina....I am not a professional photographer, so there's no way I can
justify the sort of storage conditions that you describe. What I am
finding is that slides which have been stored in standard 20 slide sheets
in three ring binders show very small "growths" after about 5 years which
may or may not be visible when printed or projected conventionally, but are
very visible when scanned. I don't find the problem to the same extent
with my negatives which are stored in strips of 5 in similar sheets.
