It is a calling and I can't help it. When I don't have a camera with me (very rarely), I am making photographs in my head. You learn all of the technical stuff to start with because the photographs from the camera don't match the ones in your head and you have to find out why. Then you just push all that information to the back burner and concentrate on seeing. I hope I never stop seeing.
