And its pretty much settled now. 
Read Epsons suggestions for display of these prints. If this does not 
please you then maybe buy something else. 
(I don't know what that would beŠ)
If you want color and B&W from one printer the 1270 or 870 is the one now.
It was the "Premium Glossy Photo Paper" that created the orange shift 
issue.
Now there is a new version of this paper. 
It'll be marked on the package "manufactured December 2000" 

The big 1270 scare was blown up to be a lot worse than it really was.
