This incessant mental consternation and theoretical contemplation is making my little ole head hurt!! Perhaps we can get Erwin to run some tests! (Only half joking, here!) It might be interesting to see. Also, if Jim 'The Digital Designer Who Uses Leica' Brick might tell us- an I am being serious, here- is there some difference required or desired in lenses for digital? I here about these super high rez 24 squillion lp.mm lenses they use to make all these 1.5 gig prosessor chips, and wonder if any of this amazing technology might spill over to the film cameras, and if the resolution is wasted on CCD devices.
