I only wish I could read German! The top French magazine is also of very high quality. I'm sure there are many others, worldwide. They do make the US mags, with their cheap see-thru paper and low quality printing, look pale in comparison. The British magazines are generally, IMO, better quality paper/printing, but some often have articles and tests with minimal, compressed information and depth. An exception is the BJP (British Journal of Photography), an excellent weekly that I would love to see become a more substantial monthly. Just my opinion - from my experience from what is probably a very limited number of photo magazines worldwide. sam
