Recently I saw a print by HCB in a San Francisco gallery. It was the shot
from the 1930's of a man at a carnival in Spain . He is wearing a monocle
which is filled with bright reflection. I had seen this photo in books a
number of times, but, last week I realized the whole photo is significantly
out of focus. (Whadayouwant for $4000?).
