Subject: [Leica] OFF TOPIC - Photo Mosaics

This is slightly off topic, but interesting. If you are interested in
making photomosaics (photographs made up of a tiling of much smaller
photographs, check out http://www.complang.tuwien.ac.at/~schani/metapixel/.
You will need a Linux based computer, unfortunately, but the program is
free, and works very well, providing a lot of control over how the final
image appears. Did I mention that it was free?

The only catch is that you must take your Leicas out and produce all those
thousands of images needed to make up the larger picture. Note: The small
images MUST be taken with Leicas!
