Subject: [Leica] virus warning

If you are a user of Microsoft Outlook I recommend strongly that you do
not ever perform a "get new mail" again until you have completed the
instructions on this page:

    http://www.officeupdate.com/

There is no active virus on the loose today (19 July 2000) that uses
this hole to destroy your computer, but it's just a matter of hours
until the first one is written and released.

It is safe to use the web, and it is safe to read email if you do
not use Microsoft Outlook software to read your email. But if you use a
Microsoft product to read your email, stop what you are doing right
now and install the update mentioned in that web page.

This is not a joke. This is real.
