Not necessarily so.  I really do feel more comfortable with my M6 than my F5
after two months of using the M6 at just about every opportunity.  I
recently attended the Leica School in the UK and was sent out on an
assignment with the theme 'The New City' and had to take 18 shots to capture
that theme.  I can honestly say that I did not waste any shots, whereas with
the F5 I would have been firing at everything.  I definitely felt more
confident walking around a city taking pictures with the M6 as it is
unobtrusive.
