I may take a few rolls of Delta 100, but since I'll be scanning the negatives I'm thinking that I could always de-saturate colour negatives if something looked better in black and white. - -----Original Message----- From: owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [mailto:owner-leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us]On Behalf Of Mark Rabiner Sent: 21 May 2000 19:37 To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us Subject: Re: [Leica] 35mm Summilux filter If you were shooting black and white I'd consider putting on a filter that really does something other than protect your lense and add an external flat element to the front of a perfect lens that could do nothing but create flare. By the way B+W has a new line of multicoated scratch resistant filters. If it were black and white a filter could really do something. I'm always pushing a yellow green filter. It only absorbs a stop and improves a shot in every way, even people; makes for a perfect balance between sky and earth. The B+W is called an 060 filter. Mark Rabiner It is a natural thing to feel insecure about a new expensive piece of equipment. But they hold up. If they get wet or dirty wipe them off.
