I have three lenses for my M6.  A 24mm aspheric, 35mm F2 aspheric and the
50mm Summicron.

I have always considered the 35mm focal length normal on a 35mm camera.  It
works for me.  The 35mm F2 Summicron is a superb lens and it I could only
have one it would be it.   The 50mm is historic in it's resolution,
contrast, bokeh, and color rendition.   The 35mm lens is also a benchmark.
I would make my decision based on the focal length fits your shooting style.
