In other words, an exposure of that white wall based on your unadjusted M6 meter reading should render it at Zone V, or result in a density of about .75 in the negative (I think this is a typical zone V density). The meter in the Nikon F5 may be doing something wierd (as someone else pointed out) when due to its colour metering system. Dan C.
