I assume that when the camera is used with a lens with no optical viewing unit that the rangefinder's vertical alignment is good. It sounds to me that the optical viewing unit needs adjusting. I have a copy of the relevant manual sections I could send you but personally I would have it checked by an experienced Leica tech who can make sure the lens is collimated correctly. I just bought a user 135 Hektor with the correct lens mount (I checked) and still I had to have it collimated! The good (insert deity of choice) only knows what these lenses have been through before we get them.
