When I asked about its archival qualities he said it was indeed archival and gave me a long technical explanation, most of which went over my head. I asked how it compared with the old emulsions. He said they were good too!" Well, Kodak's recommendation for storing colour motion picture film are for Medium-Term Storage (10 years): Relative Humidity Range 20-30%, Maximum Temperature 50°F/10°C, for Extended Storage 20-30%, 36°F/2°C. In comparisan to that silver gelatin is less demanding: 70°F/21°C for Extended Storage. Anyhow I believe that colour negative motion picture film is not C41 material! Isn't there a demand for permanency from press and wedding photographers using C41 (nowadays maybe less for wedding)? Hans-Peter
