I see parallels between the new digital era and the then-new photographic era: Neither got much respect, or was viewed as a threat. Ansel Adams' earliest works were sold as "Parmalian Prints", and today, if you want to get your digital photo taken seriously, you call it a "Squirt Print", only you say it in French so it sounds somehow more sophisticated! Producing a digital image is easy; mastering the medium is not: There's room in the world for digital masters, too. Funny that, though photography has flourished and is displayed in the most prestigious galleries, fine-art painting is still with us! I still plan on getting another M6. Jeff
