I have never shot motorcross so I am hoping that I will get at least a few decent shots. I will use my R8's for that, along with the 400mm and 180. I like the look of sports pictures where the background is well out of focus such as when shot at between F2.8 and F4 with the 400 and F2 and F2.8 with the 180. The fast lenses are easier to focus too.
