	While you may be partially correct, the new AF system from Canon is
quite good and does allow you to use AF even with nature.  One comment, even
thogh the 6.8 (I believe) 
	lens you picked up is sharp, you still will not be able to blow out
the background like you could with the 400mm F2.8 of another manufacturer.
BUt if you shoot at F8, then it does not matter.
