I sympathize - when I declared bankruptcy from my photo business in 1976, a set of 2 - 500C bodies, a 50, an 80, a 150, a right-angle prism and three backs fetched only $2400 CDN ($1800 US) at auction, and the guy who bought them didn't know how to open the W/L viewfinder to look through it. :-( Good tools are worth what they cost.
