You may be right about that 'prestige' thing. 5 of my M lenses are the real
thing, but to tell you the truth I draw the line at spending about $2000 for
a lens that I might not use that much even though I can afford to buy such a
lens. And for my purposes I am not looking for the 'ultimatte'. It's like,
every once in a while I take out my old Alfa Romeo Spyder for a drive, it
makes me smile, would an $80,000 Porsche Cabriolet make my smile any bigger?
