Dear Mr. Snook:

Please check the response Leica posted on this LUG net this afternoon to my 
inquiry.  She says send the pressure plate and it will be repaired or 
replaced.  Thought that was an excellent response.

We have forwarded the info from the internet about similar situations with 
film scratching.
