Hi:

My thoughts on this issue since I haven't bought either lens is to go with
the 24 asp. I used to own the 20/2.8 Canon EF lens for my slr & I find it
accumulating dust in my shelf more than my any other lens I own.

The 24 should just be fine in my opinion & the fact that an external finder
isn't that necessary is all the more reasons to go with it.

I'll probably buy my 24 hopefully sometime this year.
