Subject: [Leica] R focusing ring

Hi you all,
I'm new to the group.
Someone said me the focusing ring of new R - lenses are
not metal but some kind of rubber? Is it true?
If yes, someone has already tried it?
I have a couple of (ten years) old R - lenses and the
metal focusing ring is excellent, much better than
other rubber ring I have on other (Zuiko and Nikon)
lenses.
