<snip>
Go during the week and photograph the people working there...they are the
interesting stories.....
<snip>

There is something magical about watching big construction, something very
satisfying at a primordial level watching something get built. I spent a
couple of years after college swinging a hammer and still remember the
satisfaction. I can't ever seem to get away during the week so at the
moment I have to satisfy myself with photographing the ghosts of the stories
that played out in the hours or days before. Still, the idle gear and piles
of used and unused materials have a story of their own if you just ask.

Several years ago I remember walking by a construction site around lunch
time. Passing by on the sidewalk were two extremely attractive. If I'd had
a camera with me, the picture I would have taken would have been the fellows
on the site above and the chaps in the suits below all slack jawed at the
sight of these two lovely gals. A wonderful juxtaposition and a fine
insight into the male condition.

Cheers
