Yes, it is the best F1 lens.  Slightly better than the Canon EOS F1 lens.  I
would say the noctilux is a great lens if you need the fastest available,
but if you don't need F1, you can save a ton o money and improve you
pictures too!

Actually Peter, if you think about the data, the Noctilux tested to be
the best f1.0 lens.  In addition, since the "tests" were conducted wide
open, you could say the Notilux scored higher at f1.0 than any other
lens tested ever.

Other than that, the data is pretty useless...
