(Speer quashed these proceedings, though Kuppenbender was later to be tried, and acquitted, by the Allies, as well!) And Else Kuehn-Leitz, Ludwig Leitz' daughter, was sent to a concentration camp, briefly, in 1943 for aiding the Palm family to escape from Germany.
