A T4S can be had for $150 or so. My only >complaints about this camera are that it's mildly bulkier than some >other p/s cameras, and its shutter lag is longer than I'd like. The shutter lag is unbearably long with the Yashica T4. It takes it almost three quarters of a second for the shutter to fire once you press the shutter release. A lot can happen in that time. So much for trying to capture the decisive moment. As with most P&S cameras, one of my pet peeves with it is that it does not have a hot shoe or cable flash connection, so you can only synch flashes by having the built-in "twinkie flash" fire slave-controlled external strobes. Another beef is that there is no tripod socket or threaded shutter release to hold a cable release. Some manual override features would be nice as well, but for $150 US dollars the Zeiss Tessar on the Yashica T4 produces very nice images. I almost bought one, but changed my mind after I came to my senses and realized that an M6 with one lens is not that much more to carry, but gives me so many more possibilities in actual use.
