The 60 is indeed a nice piece of glass.  The series-whatever front 
threading does make use of a filter a challange. I'm trying to get my 
hands on a step-down to 55mm to use the circ. polarizer I already 
have. Some preliminary testing has not revealed any vignetting with 
that size filter.
