Sure we all have a 'political' agenda when we take photos, but it would nice to think that ALL the LUG take photos because we care about people, and the human condition. This ranges from Le Capitaine Franky's street photography, to Tina's touching portraits of Central America. Mankind, in one way or another, is a body politic, and even if we only do landscapes, we comment on the absence of people in a certain respect. It's a wonderful story about serendipity- and like so many of out photographs, it's sometimes the ones we like the least, or have the least regard for, that have the most effect on other people. I hope noone take umbrage at you post, 'cause I LIKED IT! Dan dwpost@msn.com
