What hurts Kodachrome is to project it in the window of a store for months on end. All of my Extachromes are fading but not my Kodachromes. I have NEVER had a problem with Kodak/Kodalux processing in the 45 years I've been using it. It's about a 10 day turnaround to get my K25/K200 back from Rockville, MD. I can always call them using an 800 number to check on a film. When Kodachrome is gone, I'll have a lot of Leica gear for sale:-) Regards, Bud Cook Jim Brick wrote: > [Snip] > > As Donal says, AD's don't want K films. E6 technology is outstanding. I'm not sure that there is a valid reason to stick with Kodachrome. Projection is detrimental to Kodachrome, while E6 is pretty much unaffected. As I said before, I refuse to ship the fruits of my labor half way around the world just for processing. If it gets lost or screwed-up, who do you talk to? > I'll stick with local labs thank you. And if a local K-Lab appears, I'll give K-25 a another try. > > Jim >
