Francesco; It is well established that Kodachromes hold their color much longer than other films when it's kept in the dark. Though I suspect the difference is still there, it's not probably quite as great a difference as it used to be. And it's also known that Kodachromes fade in projection faster than others. But there's one advantage to Leica projectors in this area. They do a better job than other projectors (at least the consumer models) at cutting out the IR in the light path, so that less damage is done to slides.
