I'd like to find out why you were not the least bit impressed with it.  Those
who have played with it so far seem quite impressed.  Certainly, it does not
replace M6 or even G2; however, it fills a niche explored by no other.  Another
rumour has it that a L39 adaptor will become available.

In a kind of stoic way, Nikon F3 and Pentax LX carry on the spirit of the
'flex, n'est-ce pas?

Yep.  What about all the praise we hear about Noctilux and Summilux 75mm: both
Canadian optics?  How about that only the final assembly of M6 is done in
Solms, and many parts are made in Portugal, and heaven forbid, Japan?  If all
the parts were made in Germany, an M6 would probably cost twice as much!
