I dunno about a seven year old Leica; when I called Leica about the only new
lens I ever bought, it was a 50 Summicron on the shelf since '87- and this
was in December of '97. The young lady said that the practical shelf life
was only 10 years!
I still got my Passport card, though!
Of course- I'd hate to see anybody get stuck with a 'stale' M6! :)
