Subject: [Leica] Noctilux aperture ring

I've just been looking at a used Noctilux which is in mint condition
and attactively priced, but I notice that the aperture ring has quite
a bit of free play - when the click stop for an aperture is selected,
the ring can move about plus or minus half a stop in either direction.
Is this normal?
