Tamarkin is the largest of the three (I have the feeling Mr. Chatterton and Mr. Kuehl are both one-man operations...could be wrong, but they always answer the 'phone themselves) and they are all *class acts*. Another excellent dealer specialising in strictly used Leica is Woodmere Camera in suburban NY. The proprietors Eddie and son Richard Tillis both know their Leicas and they grade their wares fairly on the basis of cosmetic appearance whilst also clearly delineating any optical or mechanical flaws, and I've heard from others that returns have never been a problem; however I've never had the occasion to return anything.
