I certainly don't want to spend 2,000 bucks = (at least) for a feature I never felt the lack of on my M6. I think an M = and a flash are not good companions and even if one needs flash for some kind = of shots I don't think TTL in an M can improve that much over a well = trained manual technique. Just my personal opinion,though. So, 2,000 dollars for a third (useless) led? For a cheap speed dial? Nah, much better to spend in lenses...waiting for the new millenium M7. You have heard of the Leica mystique...well, I think this is the Leica mistake. Leica has not offered enought of an incentive for existing M6 users to up grade. Nor are the changes great enough to bring in new customers. If you want to know weather or not my observation is correct, just watch the net selling price (after rebates).
