Hi Bo and welcome!

The M6 is the latest version of the classic Leica M rangefinder cameras,
starting with the M3 in 1954. They are wonderful cameras (I use an M6 and
an M3) but certainly an acquired taste. The R6.2 is a mechanical SLR; the
latest SLR from Leica is the R8. For more information, look at Erwin
Puts' site:

http://www.imx.nl/photosite/leica/leicahome.html

In addition to the information there, Erwin also has a lot of good Leica
links.
