Bruce The short-mount you have is intended to mount on a PLOOT or VISO I, which has a 62.5mm depth; the later VISO II, IIa, and III have a 40mm depth, so the OUBIO is simply a spacer 22.5mm (slightly less than an inch) in thickness to compensate for the difference in depth. (It also has a female TM fitment and a male bayonet for use on the M mount on the later VISO housings.) If you cannot focus to infinity with the shorter of your two lens tubes, then you may not have a ZOOAN tube at all. Perhaps this is the adapter for the FOCOSLIDE and not for the VISO. Simply put, with the shorter of the two lens tubes and the OUBIO, you should be able to reach infinity. The VISO II is a nice and user-friendly rig, incidentally. M and R lenses are not compatible, though VISO lenses can be used on any of the reflex models with either the 14127 or 14167 adapters and the reflex lenses can be used (with scale focusing) on an M with the rare Leicina adapter 22228.
