Okay... your computer cannot be infected by a virus simply by reading an 
email.  Unless someone deliberately sends an infected file to you in an 
email attachment, you are not putting yourself in harm's way.  

Come to think of it, the volume of messages from the LUG do sort of 
invade your spare time and kill it like some sort of virulent disease...
