For the Summilux-M 35mm f/1.4 ASPH it's yes, but only a small part unless
you screw a filter on (which I am doing at most times).
But, if you put the complimentary lenshood on, you are going to be in for
a nasty surprise: up to 20% of your image in the viewfinder will be
hidden. There is, however, an incision in the upper left part of the
lenshood, so that you can see "through" and not loose too much of your
sight.
When I mounted the Summilux-M 50mm f/1.4 I was favorably surprised not to
encounter this annoying thing. The major thing is really the lenshood
(which is rectangular for maximum effectiveness, but is a burden in use).
