The last lens I bought only 10 days ago after having put some questions on this forum about choice between Summicron or Summilux 50mm. So I went for the Summilux because I consider the M6 to be ideal in low light without flash (if you want flash, you go for the reflex series). The results of both lenses with this black and white film are great: the images, I would say especially those taken at the bigger apertures with both lenses, are impressive. They are quite sharp, but what is really stunning is the out-of-focus area on the image. Is this what they call "bokeh" or that Leica "3D look"? Well, if this is the case, it's there in spades! I must confess I never had quite this feeling when shooting color negative films. There must be a special relation between Leica M gear & old fashioned black and white film! Maybe because they are both old fashioned & traditional :-) It took some time, but I am finally beginning to appreciate the M6 and its lenses.
