An electronic range finder in parallel with the existing one would light up a pair of familiar led arrows. Focussing would still be carried out by manually turning the lens barrel of EXISTING lenses. This is very much in the spirit of the M6 light meter. One could still ignore the electronic range finder output, or if batteries are dead, and focus using the split image which could still be left in place. Tony Vezza
