The lenspen is quite a nifty little device, and I believe that the
Eagle Optics web page (http://www.eagleoptics.com) has a link to the
manufacturer for those wanting a little more information about it.

Occasionally, one will come through with too much powder on the
cleaning pad. As a result, the powder remains on the lens surface.
In response to my complaint about this situation, the manufacturer
recommended that the cleaning pad be tapped on a lint free cloth or
tissue about ten times to remove the excess cleaning powder before
use.
