A few years back, a chrome version of the M6 was available with its 
compatible chrome 50mm/f1.4 Summilux. The lens is unlike the current 
model with a built-in shade. The body cover was finished with smooth 
black ox-leather and the outfit was complimented with a portable case 
together with another larger briefcase both in similar leather finish. 
Could someone enlighten me as to the actual number of units that were 
made of this limited version in view of its rather low-profile promotion 
that was untypical of Leica during that time?
