What Marc says about the internal mechanism of the M6 has been verified to my satisfaction through conversations with John Van Stelten. Since he has a vast experience servicing Leica M's, mine included, I take his word on these matters as gospel. On other matters, well...it's worth a few beers or lunch at least. Henry
